U12
A good even sided game resulted in a 12-12 draw. Moyles Court began strongly and edged into the lead during the first two quarters. Good team play although a loss of focus towards the end of the second quarter allowed BCS to equal. There was some accurate shooting from Alisha and Jasmine and good interception from Jenny in the defending end. Lucia was named player of the match. Lucia worked hard throughout to play a consistently high standard of netball. A good team effort and a good result to end the term. Well done!
U13/U14
This team should be very proud of themselves today especially as they had not played as a team before. They were up against a particularly strong opposition. The result of 29-6 to BCS does not reflect the play. The ball was up and down the court but BCS had two very accurate shooters. Moyles Court worked hard as a team throughout the match and did not give up despite the disappointment of the rising score. There was great defending from Leyre, Olivia and Imogen who were up against some particularly tall players. This did not faze them. Charlotte and Lucy Phillips worked well as a shooting partnership and Prudence played a consistently high level of netball to earn Player of the match. Thank you to Hannah for stepping in at the last moment and playing well in an unfamiliar position. This team should be congratulated on their determination, consistent play and impeccable behaviour. Well done!
