Both teams shared equal possession of the ball for the first 10 minutes of the game and handling errors meant the ball never stayed with one team for very long.

However Leehurst Swan were able make better use of their ball possession and in fact were able to take a 10 – 0 lead into half time.

Moyles Court began the second half determined to eliminate the mistakes of the first half and had a lot of the early play. After some good work from the forwards and backs Tom Brown was able to run in a try in the corner, which he was able to convert. Two other tries from Harri and Andrew; both converted, gave Moyles Court a 22-10 lead. However Leehurst Swan ensured a nervous finish to the game by scoring two late tries of their own, bringing the score to 21-20 in favour of Moyles Court with Leehurst Swan having the last conversion attempt of the game to win the game, which fortunately they missed.

In a really close game Moyles Court ended up the winners by just one point 21-20. This was a really good team performance but Harri, Tom, Ben and Andrew had really good games and there should be a special mention for Alberto who was playing his first ever game of rugby.
